Those of you who have followed my family's journey for a while know I was a reluctant convert to mindfulness. Now? I am a full-out fanatic.
While I believe in the power of quality food, connecting with nature, and movement, I think mindfulness is the key to the rest of it. Stress can wreak havoc on the body, and the negative things we tell ourselves about our heath when we feel bad are toxic. Living with chronic health conditions or just chronic stress can be dramatically improved by taking fifteen minutes out each day to retrain your brain.
